How Spark works
A learn-to-work workflow where every claim has evidence behind it
From your first diagnostic to your first application, Spark separates what you studied from what was measured and what was verified.
The workflow, step by step
Program durations vary; a typical program runs for around twelve weeks, but each program publishes its own structure.
- 1
Registration
StartYou create an account, accept the terms and privacy policy, then complete a short onboarding: education, specialization, weekly availability, goals and work preferences. Anything you list as an existing skill is kept as context only — it never sets a skill level.
- 2
Diagnostic assessment
StartA diagnostic assessment covers the skills of your chosen program. Its results produce level estimates per skill and identify your weakest competencies. A diagnostic estimates where you are; it does not verify anything.
- 3
Personalised pathway
LearnYour pathway orders skills and modules for you: learn what is new, remediate what is weak and skip what you already demonstrated. Every item carries a written reason, and each new version records why it changed.
- 4
AI tutoring
LearnAn AI tutor explains concepts, gives hints and checks your reasoning on lessons and practice exercises. It is designed to guide rather than hand over answers, and it is not available for graded assessment questions.
- 5
Continuous assessment
LearnShort assessments and coding exercises track progress throughout the program. Some answers are graded automatically; open answers may be marked provisional until a reviewer confirms them.
- 6
Real projects
ApplyYou complete applied projects against a published rubric. Mentors review submissions and can request changes. Accepted projects become evidence for the skills they exercise.
- 7
Final verification
VerifyA skill is verified only when a configured verification policy is satisfied — for example a minimum score on a controlled assessment plus an accepted project — with integrity checks clear. Some policies also require human approval.
- 8
Skill passport
ShowVerified skills appear in your skill passport with their level, verification methods, dates and a credential ID. You decide whether the passport is public and whether employers can discover it.
- 9
Certificate
ShowWhen every required skill of a program is verified, you can claim a program certificate. It lists the verified competencies, has a public verification page and may carry an expiry date.
- 10
Employer discovery
ConnectIf you opt in, approved employer organisations can search for candidates by verified skills and see an explanation of how your evidence matches their needs. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- 11
Applications
ConnectYou can apply to published opportunities and follow each application's status. Employers make their own hiring decisions; Enara Spark does not guarantee interviews or employment.
Three skill states, never mixed up
Your dashboard, passport and anything an employer sees always say which state a skill is in.
Learned
Did you study it?
You completed lessons, watched material or practised with the tutor. Spark records this activity so you and your mentors can see your effort.
Completing a lesson or course never counts as verification.
Assessed
Has it been measured?
An assessment produced evidence for the skill and a level estimate. Estimates can be provisional while open answers await review.
An assessed skill is an indicator, not a credential.
Verified
Does the evidence meet the policy?
Sufficient, final, integrity-clear evidence satisfied the skill's published verification policy. A credential with a public ID is issued.
Credentials can expire or be revoked, and anyone can check their status.
What happens behind the scenes
Diagnostics drive the plan
Your pathway is generated from diagnostic results, not from self-reported skills. Strong areas can be skipped; weak competencies are remediated first.
Pathways explain themselves
Each pathway item has a reason. When the pathway is regenerated — after new results or at your request — the change reason is recorded in its version history.
A tutor that guides
The AI tutor can discuss lessons and practice exercises. It cannot be used on graded assessment questions.
Grading you can inspect
Automatic grades are shown with the method used. Open answers may be provisional until a reviewer confirms them, and you can appeal a result.
Policy-based verification
Administrators configure a verification policy per skill. Only when every requirement is met by final, integrity-clear evidence is a credential issued.
Consent-based discovery
Employers only see learners who opted into discovery, and only their verified skills, accepted projects and the evidence behind them.
AI features (tutoring, some grading support and pathway explanations) assist learning and review. Where AI output affects a grade, it is labelled and can be reviewed by a person. Enara Spark does not guarantee employment, and its credentials are not government or academic accreditations.
